Our special guest on this edition of Northeast Delta Dental Radio is Dr. Susan Lynch. Dr. Lynch will be sharing with us about the The Bridges House and the restoration campaign for restoring New Hampshire's executive residence. The Bridges House, built in 1835, located in East Concord, is listed both on the New Hampshire and the National Register of Historic Places. While our state's first families generally have not resided at the Bridges House, it serves as the setting for many official state functions held by the governor and is an extension of that office. Conferences are held here with legislators, civic and business leaders, and visiting dignitaries from the nation and around the world. The public is welcomed to the house for events such as holiday events, concerts, tours, and non-profit community groups use the property for meetings and events.
