Dr. Thurston J. Carpenter Memorial Golf Tournament

Calling all golfers!  The 17th Annual Dr. Thurston J. Carpenter Memorial Golf Tournament is scheduled for Friday, October 10, 2014 at the Abenaqui Country Club in Rye, New Hampshire.  Joe Kasper joins Tom Raffio on this weekend's broadcast to share about the tournament, its history, and purpose.  The tournament is a fund-raiser for the Northeast Delta Dental Foundation and all net proceeds will be used to fund oral health programs in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont and to fund Northeast Delta Dental's own program, Prevent Abuse and Neglect through Dental Awareness (P.A.N.D.A.).  Please join us on the radio to learn more and join us on the course on October 10th. Ronald McDonald Mobile Dental Care Van

Tom is joined by Melanie Sussman on this weekend's Northeast Delta Dental Radio broadcast.  Melanie is the Program Coordinator for the Ronald McDonald Mobile Dental Care Van which is an outreach of the Saving People's Smiles dental center in Concord, NH.  The van is the first statewide mobile dental van and it was donated by the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern New England.  The van is a 'dental office' on wheels and contains state of the art dental equipment, 2 treatment rooms, digital x-rays, and a waiting room with large screen TV for patient education.  Melanie and Tom will discuss the program, who the van serves, how it all started, and the challenges facing the program today.  Join us on the radio to learn more!
