The 2014 Granite State Baseball Dinner presented by Northeast Delta Dental is the feature of this weekend’s broadcast and we are joined by Jenna Raizes of the New Hampshire Fisher Cats to share all the exciting things taking place at the dinner. The dinner is a fundraising event with proceeds benefiting CHaD, Ted Williams Museum, and the Fisher Cats Foundation. In 2013, 1,200 individuals raised more than $160,000 and since 2007, more than $1.1 million has been raised through the dinner. Guests will not only enjoy a delicious meal, they will also be able to meet special guests, collect autographs, enjoy special presentations, and participate in a silent and real auction. Sarra Dennehy, State Director for Best Buddies New Hampshire will be our guest this weekend on Northeast Delta Dental to talk about Best Buddies. Best Buddies New Hampshire is a “nonprofit organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.” In addition to sharing about Best Buddies programs, Sarra will discuss several upcoming events and campaigns to include the 2nd annual Masquerade Gala at the Manchester Country Club, the End of Year giving campaign, and the Friendship Walk on June 6, 2015.

Announcing The Granite State Games - Coming in June 2015! What are the Granite State Games? The Granite State Games are a multi-sport, Olympic style event featuring select amateur athletes in the state of New Hampshire. The games will follow an Olympic games pattern with an Opening Ceremony on Thursday, team competition in a round-robin tournament on Friday and Saturday, followed by the medal rounds and Closing Ceremony on Sunday.
