Providing for those in Need

The 2014 Granite State Baseball Dinner

The 2014 Granite State Baseball Dinner presented by Northeast Delta Dental is the feature of this weekend’s broadcast and we are joined by Jenna Raizes of the New Hampshire Fisher Cats to share all the exciting things taking place at the dinner.  The dinner is a fundraising event with proceeds benefiting CHaD, Ted Williams Museum, and the Fisher Cats Foundation.  In 2013, 1,200 individuals raised more than $160,000 and since 2007, more than $1.1 million has been raised through the dinner.  Guests will not only enjoy a delicious meal, they will also be able to meet special guests, collect autographs, enjoy special presentations, and participate in a silent and real auction.  The Granite State Baseball Dinner is held on Saturday, November 22, 2014 – visit www.nhfishercats.com for tickets.

Best Buddies New Hampshire

Sarra Dennehy, State Director for Best Buddies New Hampshire will be our guest this weekend on Northeast Delta Dental to talk about Best Buddies.  Best Buddies New Hampshire is a “nonprofit organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.”  In addition to sharing about Best Buddies programs, Sarra will discuss several upcoming events and campaigns to include the 2^nd annual Masquerade Gala at the Manchester Country Club, the End of Year giving campaign, and the Friendship Walk on June 6, 2015.

Direct to Consumer Marketing

Jodie Hittle, Northeast Delta Dental’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing will join Tom on this weekend’s Northeast Delta Dental Radio show to talk about the emergence of the retail benefits market and Northeast Delta Dental’s direct-to-consumer marketing strategies.  In addition, Jodie and Tom will present information about individual consumer products and the platforms through which they are offered.  The show will introduce listeners to Northeast Delta Dental’s landmark new Health through Oral Wellness program being introduced in the dental group market starting in January 2015.

Henry Glickel joins Tom on this weekend’s broadcast to share on the topic of ‘Employee Engagement’.  The program is geared towards Human Resources professionals and the discussion will center around ‘employers finding right candidates’, ‘how the employer prepares for the interview’, reasonable expectations the employer should have about potential candidates and vice versa, ‘ the employer finds the right candidate – the art of negotiating the deal’, plus a lot more.  Henry will also share about his new book, The Power of Proactive Recruiting.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk

Announcing the Granite State Games

Announcing The Granite State Games - Coming in June 2015!  What are the Granite State Games?  The Granite State Games are a multi-sport, Olympic style event featuring select amateur athletes in the state of New Hampshire.  The games will follow an Olympic games pattern with an Opening Ceremony on Thursday, team competition in a round-robin tournament on Friday and Saturday, followed by the medal rounds and Closing Ceremony on Sunday.  Tune in and enjoy the conversation between Pat Mulcahy and Tom Raffio as they share about the games and the planning that is going into producing this event.  Join us to learn more about the games and follow the development of the games over the coming months on their website: http://granitestategames.org/
