The mission of the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center is "to educate, incite and entertain learners of all ages in the sciences and humanities by actively engaging them in the exploration of astronomy, aviation, Earth and space science." Our guest, Jeane Gerulskis will share with us 'What's up at the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center?' We will first look back at 2014 for a short discussion on the challenges and accomplishments as well as a recap of the year's events and exhibits.
Looking ahead to 2015, it is going to be a busy year for the center with the development and construction of a science themed playground, STEM camps taking place in the summer vacation period, Aerospace Festival, and a Blues Night in March.
