On Thursday, July 19, the World Run-Paddle Biathlon Championship will be held at the boat ramp on the NHTI campus. Tom Walton is our guest on this weekend’s Northeast Delta Dental Radio show to talk about the event. What is a Run-Paddle Biathlon? The event combines the disciplines of running and paddling with a 4k trail run, followed by a 4k flat water paddle, and then finishes with a 40 meter dash. Prior to the Biathlon, there will be a fun event for the youth – a Cardboard Boat Regatta. Enjoy the conversation on the radio and see you at the boat ramp on July 19 for the event!
