Our guest this weekend is Laura Decoster with Safe Sports Network. What is Safe Sports Network? The network provides a variety of services to promote a safer sporting environment for youth athletics. Laura will talk with us about the mission of Safe Sports, why the program exists, how it started, and how it has evolved over the years. Also discussed will be some of the services and programs offered, such as free sports physicals, drop-in clinics, occasional game coverage, sports medicine programs at high schools, and educational programs.
